How can I find out which dealers have which sizes?

I would fit either the 56 or 58, but not sure which one. Prolly the 58, but the tt seems a bit longish. But it might be perfect. But I would love to test ride one.

unfortunately, i have a feeling not that many serotta dealers carry fully built up hsg bikes.

you'd have to go to a high volume dealer i would think

good luck and please give a ride report...

Probably right. But if I find a dealer who has one I can go there.

My job has plusses and minusses. That is one of the plusses.

I'd start by telephoning them to make it easy. Easier to knock out a half-dozen calls rather than fussing around with e-mail.

i bet serotta would ship out a hsg demo bike if the lbs didn't have one.

I think that you live in Virginia, near DC. If so, try All American in Damascus MD. They have an absoutely gorgeous orange carbon 2007 HSG and a carbon HSG 2008, which is in the colors shown on the Serotta website. If I remember correctly, the bikes are very close to 56 or 58 if in fact not one or the other. The phone number is 301-253-5800. One of the owners is Matt and the store manager is Travis. Matt was a former racer, and very good. He even won his age class a few years ago in the MD state championships.

Spokes etc. in Virginia is another Serotta dealer and has several stores in VA. The phone number of the Alexandria store is 703-820-2200. The owner of the store is Jim Strang.

Yo Saabo...

If you do a search on the Serotta Home Page for dealers (http://www.serotta.com/dealer.html), pick your state and see who has bikes for test ride. I queried Michigan and this dealer came up:

VILLAGE BIKE SHOP - GRAND RAPIDS NORTH
4336 Plainfield NE
Grand Rapids, MI 49525
(616)-361-3661
dale@villagebikeshop.com
www.villagebikeshop.com
Serotta Bike Fit Technician: Dale Phelps, Cory Bultman, Tom Burke

I'd see of the places you travel to and call and see how has them. I know in Colorado, in the Denver area, Wheat Ridge Cyclery normally has a big selection of Serottas to test ride.

Tell whomever has the bike you'll give 'em an airplane ride if they give you a bicycle ride. That should make a few bikes appear out of the woodwork.

Sandy, Spokes to my knowledge is not carrying HSG's Matt probably has them since you have seen them with your eye balls. Nice bike Saab but why temp yourself :)

Why not tempt myself? $$$$

At the end of the day it's still an expensive bike, even if it's a 'good value'.

But I do want to see one and ride one if possible. Maybe then I will truly be tempted!

Check out Village Bikes in GR--good shop, IMHO, and between their multiple locations, it seems liek your odds are good...
