I haven't met Kent, but he gives every indication of being someone who eats, talks, and smiles. A lot!

This is one of the funniest things I've read:

I got a sample of the powder once. Mixed up a couple of bottles. Went for a ride. Very very big mistake. That stuff was indescribably foul. I don't think I got two mouthfuls down before I poured the rest of it out (not sure where you can safely dispose of this material). and went in search of water, gatoraid, ANYthing. Kent's more or less ridden everywhere there is to ride on PayDay bars and milk. So much for exercise science. I sometimes grab a payday on the road but usually save the milk for when I get back.

The non real food I'll eat on a bike is the cliff bar square gummy bear type things. other than that, it's gotta be real. Payday bars are expecially good once the mileage gets near the century mark.
