Hi-

Can a front clip-on 32mm derailleur be modified/retrofitted to work as a braze-on? I'd like to reuse my existing derailleur if possible.

you need the braze-on body.

All the campy front derailleurs for double chainrings going back about 10 years
have the same dimension pivot posts. So you can switch the clamp size on two
different derailleurs.
