Mavic GP4 - how wide can I go?

I am trying to "winterize" my road bike with wider tubular tires and wondered whether I could glue a 27mm tire on a GP4. Any advice on the limitations of the tire width compared to rim width would be helpful.

I think your only issue is fork clearance.

I've used 27 mm Vittoria CX and 34 mm Challenge Grifo on GP4s with no issues.

I've been getting private lessons from Doctor 11.4 ;) , these make excellent cross rims, your 27's 'll be fine.

The more important question to ask is sourcing? Who has these in reasonable quantities...
