There's a web site somewhere (don't remember where) that has a bunch pictures of the craziest runways imaginable. One in the alps that's built on the side of a mountain at an insane grade. Several on tiny islands that span nearly the entire diameter. Another where the final approach takes you right over a tourist beach, with the landing gear seemingly just a few feet over the sunbathers. They were nuts.

Nope. Never been there. The craziest place I have been was where I was based in Lugano (LSZA) where we had an IGS approach - like an ILS but steeper.

The wildest ride we have now is the River Visual in DCA. :banana:
