What do you think? No reserve, not much detail in posting. If someone in the area is missing their Fierte...

Awfully suspicious. Not even a cover story about selling it for a friend.

Why would you think either of those is hot?

No feedback since May, selling an expensive bike without reserve, with low starting price? I would be very suspicious of a stolen account.

and we all have to be a first time user at some point. In my case I bought a few small things before I ever sold anything, and I didn't accept Paypal for my first sale. I did for my second and haven't sold anything since. Paypal can be a hassle and their guarantee worthless, but the fact that both sellers take it instead of money orders or Western Union only is at least encouraging to me. And some people just want to sell something without giving their life story about why it's for sale.

If interested in these items, one could always ask the seller for the serial number in the interest of confirming size and geometry with Serotta, and if the seller provides it, that would be a good sign to me.

I myself would love to own a set of wheels that hold true and round even when giving a beating. :D
