I'm bored with this TDF so far, so I've decided to brainstorm and come up with some predictions...
I figure by the second last stage, Tyler will still have his dog tags on, a sling on his left arm, stitches accross his chin, Spenco Second Skin covering his entire left leg from a run in with a cow on the road, and a new gold tooth.
By the end of the last stage, possibly a full body cast after his team car loses control and runs over him?
Ulrich will be in second place to Lance by 2.5 minutes.

Tyler's too tough and motivated to be denied the podium, maybe even 2nd.

I predict he will be escorted to the third spot on the podium with at least two boken bones and possibly at least one leg in a cast. He will crack a tooth as he falls off the podium.

2nd...hahhahahaha
The only way he'll see the podium is if he does a face plant while riding by it!!
Apparently they already have a plastic surgeon onsite for Tyler in case this happens..

A fellow forum member suggested to me that:

"Too bad his horse didn't die, he could have shoved the horseshoe in his ass
for good luck instead of wearing the dog tag on his neck" :bike:

If you want to have a laugh, then go right ahead. But to make light of his pet dying is just plain too much. Very cheap shot . . .

Give it a rest.

You have the same healthy attitude about pets as we do here.....three or four morbid posts about Tiger Hamilton injuring himself grotesquely and nothing!
Then a cheap crack about his pet dog....and...
Forgive the drunk, I think he is really really bored.

I like dogs as much as the next dog lover, but I'm really not talking about dogs, I'm talking about that spazz tyler.
Does anyone take anything said on this forum seriously?!?!?!

i think that for some here, this forum is is more important than the real world. if one's life is wrapped up in an internet forum, then i bet it is taken pretty seriously.

theres a real world outside of the forum and beer?!??????? :butt:
When Spuds MacKenzie died, I was crushed. I wore a beer bottle around my neck for a week........but I kept drinking it.......man I got drunk.........

Phew! I am glad I am not the only one....

I have always said, the Giro is a more exciting race to watch!

. . . that the Tour has been somewhat lacking in drama so far among the "contenders."

As for taking things seriously, I simply keep in mind that many people DO have strong feelings for their pets--sometimes almost as strong as if they were children. How difficult can it be to simply have a bit of courtesy? To many people, making fun of a deceased pet is NO different than making fun of a deceased HUMAN child.

A podium finish would be a great story for an obvious over-acheiver who appears to be a genuinely nice fellow. Reality however is that this years field is too deep in individual and team talent that I suspect 4th is a best case scenario, although I think he'll finish 5th or 6th. Another wonderful story for US fans should be Levi Leipheimer who was named to US Olympic squad as Lance's replacement and has a good chance for a top 10 finish at LeTour riding on a team with considerably less depth than Lance or even Tyler. Go Levi!

Ride on!
