OT: Really Cold and Wet

So here in the Pac NW we are getting out the woolies and raingear, preparing for the inevitable. I decided to get some toughening: 39 degree water at Clear Lake, the head of the McKenzie River in the Cascades of Oregon. 30 minutes in this makes a couple of hours on a bike in our weather seem like a warm and sunny day!

BTW, the trees have been carbon dated to have been from around the time of the pyramids.

Very Cool, my neighbor is a master diver/instructor we tease each other over whose hobby is more expensive :D . I won a few points when he brought home the dry suit. I lost though the war though, he's somewhere in the Caribbeans right now with a few of his friends/students, teaching re breather's. Something about write offs and expenses the dog :rolleyes: . Looks like you had a good time though.
