DT rim failure

I understand this is common in early single eyelet rims. Mine cracked with about 5000 on it. Dt is warranteeing those under 2 years old but do not make 28 hole double eyelets for retail individually, only in their prebuit wheels+ :crap:. Anybody else have this happen?

Twice --first one cracked after 6800 miles, second after 7700 miles; both 32 single eyelet on drive side of rear rim. Third rim has 32 double eyelet with over 10,000 miles and no cracking.

Thank you for your replies. Its an 810 gram rear wheel and at first I thought It was my fat backside that kept it from staying true. :p
