Gratuitous bicycle content...Poodles who belong to bicycle riders

If you have close ties to Std. or Royal breeders on the east coast pls shoot me a PM. Looking for non-cmmercial in home breeders who are devoted Std. or Royal people.

Jean Luc ,the noblest dog ever, is failing and is mom's companion / alert dog. We want a puppy to work with the old man and learn his wise ways.

Thanks for your attention now back to the shoe.

So how should I put it and be Super Sensitive Sandy?- He wants a standard poodle! Sure your poodle is adorable. Probably very smart too. Probably does really well in cross races. But,...with a big but...Too Tall wants a dog that weighs more than a bicycle pedal, to add cycling content here.

Sorry to hear about Jean Luc. Have you ever thought about a rescue dog from a poodle rescue group or a shelter poodle? I know that there are advantages in a breeder. What is a Royal poodle? Never heard of that before. I am sure that I can get you some names if you like, but I have no personal experience with them.

Too Tall, I can't give you a recommendation. It's been too many years since I looked for a breeder. But I can say, research genetic diseases and then research some more. Epilepsy and Addison's - you need to know about these. Contact the PCA about their testing. Then research some more.

Superb Poodles are the best dogs ever -- if you are smarter than they are.

The dog at the top was a 3 year old adult when I got him and he thought the sun rose and set on me. I was the first owner who let him play and just be a dog - no foo-foo shows and curling papers in the ears. And I was also the only owner who said "You're mine for life, bud, no more adoptions." We had 13 great years together.

I have a PWD and they are also very smart dogs. I wanted a standard Poodle but I saw my PWD on the poodle rescue web site and it was a match.

I love Specer-issimo. I'm hoping to name my next Vizsla pup after him. But is Spencer-issimo (sorry....sir) a poodle, atmo?

y'all are hilarious :) Twizz, that's one hot std. poodle toy you got there....I'd have to get 6 or so to achieve the desired effect atmootm cute.

Royals Poodles are 28 inches or more at the shoulder. Jean Luc is 27 at the shoulder and a very large build...crazy smart. It takes me months to teach Beau a new trick than Jean Luc watches once or twice and has it done. Scarey.

Anywho, it's got to be a std. or royal. There are tons of wonderful dogs but you know the deal. We've done rescue and it worked out well. However puppies are terrific and something I'd hate to miss out on.

Sadie, that's really cool. You'll go to heaven twice :)

Thanks Sandyman, I've got a bunch of breeders to check out. Names are coming in. Serotta Forum rawks :)

Not a dog and certainly not so beautiful,

Sandy

We have (and have had) poodles (currently only 1) and my wife is huge into the rescues etc so, at her insistence:

and of course pet finders!

Of course, best of luck! I have been hooked on poodles since my very first (who just recently passed @ almost 18 years old, and still smart as a whip and active as a pup!)

Thanks for the compliment, Sandy. The picture was taken during one of those rare moments of puppy reflection and tranquility. Soon after the picture was taken, she bolted up and ran laps around our yard.

What's off-topic? Standard and miniature poodles are cross-training devices--they like lots of walking mileage.

Take her to a basset hound rescue group home with home rescue Bassets and I bet she might change her mind. A dog might pick her and/or she might pick a dog. Heck she picked you...She can't be too hard to please!! :) :) :) :)

Did she go see Basset Hounds before? I think that you may have mentioned something about all of this before.

She's met them before, and doesn't care for the hound odour....... or the flying drool..... :(
