Anybody using these and if so what do you think? The IF guys tell me that lots of guys are having the best luck with them. My all time favorite IF Panet X has Avid Shortys and I am trying to solve a lttle shudder and squeal issue.

Thanks,
Eric

...especially w/salmon Koolstops. Though the stock pads are OK in the dry, the salmon KS pads do better in the rain and winter muck.

This is my second or third year w/them, IIRC.

No fuss to set up; no squeal, no grabbing like the Avids that they replaced...

My spouse has them on her IF, too. Also no noise from either her...or from the brakes.

I haven't tried any NEW Shimano cantis but I have nothing but good performance from several models of OLD Shimano cantis. I doubt that they forgot how to make good ones. :)
