I was at the library a little while ago and flopped down in their periodical area and thumbed through the November issue of Bicycling. They had an article about Critical Mass and quality beers. We just recently covered those subjects, maybe not with spell-check, but just as thorough. And for retros...they also had a write-up on the new Adidas retro lace-up shoes.

I think we have their attention. Anything else you'd like to see them cover?

How about Framebuilder of the Month with bio/interview/pics of an American independent small builder in each issue. (if you are really watching)

*probably wouldn't fly with the advertisers

There is usually this kind of article (sometimes only ½ page) in Dirt Rag & Bike (both mt bike mags).

They also do articles on smaller accessory companies (one on King Cages sticks out in my mind).

all the cool climbs in the Swiss Alps?

There's a very good chance that our coverage of that topic is better than anything Bicycling could come up with...

I read the article about Tyler in the most recent Bicycling. I have to say that I thought it was one of the most thoughtful, thought-provoking pieces I have read on the whole issue of Tyler himself and doping in general.
I, for one, would be happy to see the mag evol into something worthwhile.
