On my SS Yo Eddy! that I posted the other day, I now run Ritchey Crossbite 26x1.4 tires to ride around town. They have an inverted tread, so they roll quickly, but have a little more traction in gravel or other road cr*p. Not sure how easy they are to find, but I got them for about $15 each.

THat's what I was going to recommend - you don't have any dirt, right? That should be a sweet ride - fast! I've got cheapie inverted tread on my beater and they work great, but slicks would be my choice if I never had to worry about mud, dirt or snow...
