I found an Atlanta in very good condition. The owner claims its a 48. Would anyone have geometry specs? Serial number is

AS 48 1175.

Is this a late 90's Atlanta? Just trying to place it.

Thanks,
Bo

The serial # indicates that it is indeed a "48". Mine is number 907 and was built in '97, so the one in question is probably '97 or '98. They are nice bikes for $$$

My Atlanta serial number is AS 60 2181 and according to Serotta was made in 2000.

The 2000 Serotta catalog lists Atlantas as small as a 46CM!

Guys,

What would you consider a good/better price for an Atlanta in very nice condition with no more than 750 miles on it, full ultegra (triple crank), except for the headset (105);

1000. or should we be talking closer to 750.?

Bo.

I got an Atlanta here from a forum member with VERY low miles. Frame/Fork/Chris King Headset were about 550.
Considering the age of the components. . quality of wheels etc. . .I'd say 750-800 is a bit more reasonable.

That's just my opinion and I could be off.. . Plus, folks here are generally generous with their offers.

resurrecting an oldey.

I just picked up an Atlanta over the weekend for a song, an early one from the looks of it (Ser.# AS 56L 231). Rode it today for the first time.

I'm selling the Eisentraut. I was so comfy on this Serotta!

Did you sing "Oh Atlanta" & if so who's version/song? Bad Company / Allison Krauss or Little Feat. They are all very good just like your new ride.
