I'm bidding on a 29er mountain/ town bike that has a rear rack. Does anyone make a bag that will handle a laptop? I would commute if I could carry my laptop with me. If there is one, hopefully it was designed with special padding to protect it from bumps weather etc.

Thanks

Thats a nice case. Can you then use side bags along with the case? Forgive me if there's another term instead of bag.

You can give them a call over at RELoadbags.com, they make custom computer sleeves, and their bags are well padded and waterproof. I'm sure they could design you a bag based on your needs.

Google for pannier +laptop and find a bunch of products and multiple discussions on the subject.

Depends on the rack, a Tubus Logo will take panniers and the Office bag at the same time.

That is the type of rack on the frame.

Okay, I won the bike. Is there anything else I should worry about having on the bike? I have the Dinotte front and rear lighting system so lghting should be covered. Suggestions welcomed.
