just read that the rally wizard died in a chopper crash. I am saddened. he was one of the greats.

He was my inspiration for getting involved in rallying, and I had the pleasure of being his teammate at the two X Games rallies and competing against him as well. He was truly a legend in the sport, a great competitor and a great friend.

He'll be sorely missed, and my thoughts are with Allison and his daughter Hollie.

Tragic indeed. Rally drivers are some of the best, and bravest drivers around and he was one of the best of the best.
