what color is behind the IF letters in their logo? dark blue? maybe try a panel of whatever that background color is?

If I was doing a panel on the seattube, it'd be white.
But I'd rather get the whole thing re-done. If I was going for a single panel, I'd want it on the downtube.

the panels should match, at least sort of.

get the standard IF seat tube decal. normally it would be a bit higher but put it over the nasty spot. it will still look a bit after thoughtish, but only if one looks closely.

If you're going to "fix" your IF, i'd use one of these :)

How about a "bikes not bombs" bumper sticker instead?
Light brown panel.

Smallish black panel with white bands at the top and bottom, maybe a double line if you like that...

well I'm planning on getting the whole bike refinnished come next spring, I'm just needing a stop gap to cover the area that is getting fixed from the cracks around the water bottle cages.

Touch up the paint and put some white bottle cages, then ride the thing hard.

$375.00 from IF for a single color paint job.
That will fix the whole frame.
Just sayin'

$375.00 from IF for a single color paint job yeah but I'm about to drop some cash on getting the frame fixed, and about to have a baby so 375 is a serious chunk of cash
