I love bieks and excuses to buy a new one. But Sidi shoes are shoes and I don't really care to upgrade.

What do we do when our shoes smell like - eeuwwh!

Wash them, perhaps?

I have it on good authority that the Odor Eaters Spray that dries clear is quite effective at de-stinking shoes.

Sneaker Ballz ( or similar ) can be had through most running/athletic-type stores. Just pop 'em in after each ride.

I hate to sound all "retro", but wool socks seem to have cured this problem for me. Those dang plastic socks stink up all my shoes!

Leave them in the garage to dry out after each ride. If you can afford it, get a second pair and alternate days.

These are all great suggestions. I tried the Lysol already, probably would have work if I applied it earlier. Now I have a massive biology experiment going on. I'll try some other stuff on them, then go to SAAB2000's base.

wool socks. take out insoles after ride and place shoes and insoles in sunlight to air out/dry out. uv radiation kills bacteria.

if this does not work out, consider a hand cycle.....

I have not tried it yet, but I read in a runner's magazine that you can put them in a zip loc bag and then put them in your freezer and the cold will kill the bacteria that is causing the stink. I look forward to trying as I have a couple stinky pairs that are close to being tossed.

I don't wear socks at all. Just air out and rotate shoes as saab said.

In Iraq we would put a dryer sheet in each shoe while they aired out. Cheap and pretty effective.

30 minutes at 450 degrees in the oven - guranteed to kill the biology experiment...

It will also give tha ohh so custom fit if you put them on immediately after - a truly molded fit...

:D

Y’know, my python boot is too tight
I couldn’t get it off last night
A week went by, an’ now it’s july
I finally got it off
An’ my girl-friend cried
"you got stink foot! stink foot, darlin’
Your stink foot puts a hurt on my nose!
Stink foot! stink foot! I ain’t lyin’,
Can you rinse it off, d’you suppose? "
