Idiots who race

Raced this past weekend. Buddy crosses the finish line, then decides to make a uturn like 20 yards past the finish line......wham! 3 other guys going at 40-45km/hr plow into him.
This has been another episode of 'Idiots Who Race!"..

The same thing happened in a race I was in this weekend. Different race, however, since in mine no one plowed into the guy who turned. I missed him by maybe a foot. Between the celebrations, posturing, exhaustion, and loss of brain cells, those 100 meters or so past the finish line are the most dangerous real estate on the course.
