I walked into the LBS this morning and sitting there on a display stand was a Cervelo with CHROME Sella Azzura bar tape.

Man, that was ugly. :eek: :butt: :crap:

I sent a bike out a couple of days ago with the Deda Olympic Gold tape. It looked great on that bike, maybe not so good on many others.

Chrome huh? That might look good on something I have.

yeah, I've seen it too, but on a friend's bike. we all gave him such a hard time he came back next week with red.

Hmm... I can't figure out were parts makers are coming from.

Silver stems, bars, cranks ands seat posts = bad.

Silver bar tape and saddles = good.

it is like we are fish and these accessories turn our bikes into fishing lures. who wouldn't gobble up a bike with that bar tape? that or peolpe are dieing to be as gauche as possible.

I just put silver Fizik bar tape on my Concours two weeks ago and I LOVE IT!!

Bling it on!!!!!!!!!!!

I had some silver tape on my Legend....it looked like duct tape. It now has light blue tape that matches the PR2 LE tires..... :cool:

And I wish you would keep your opinions to yourselves. What do you know about color coordinating bar tape? Are you a trained and certified designer? Sometimes my customers has special color needs or is simply color blind. You do not realize how much you people poo pooing a product such as my beuatiful chrome bar tape can ruin my online reputation and effect my business selling bling bar tape.

Deda Olympic Gold tape is wonderful. Slippery when you sweat, but wonderful.

I receive many compliments on mine. People say things like, "I compliment you on your Deda Olympic Gold tape," and, "you have such style."

It's a Florida thing. We don't expect you to understand.

Here in New England, we prefer quiet displays of tastefulness.
