For you sports fans. What professional sport had a game last night in which the final score was 30-3? Exhibition NFL game? Start of a NBA game or scrimmage? What is your guess?

The answer is baseball! Yesterday, the Texas Rangers routed the Baltimore Orioles 30-3 at Camden Yards in Baltimore.

The game was described as a tight pitchers duel!! :) :)

Just when I think the worse this team could do was start a season 0-21, they pull this. What has become of this once great franchise?

I was driving in this morning and at the stop light was a car with a license plate holder.

The bottom part said "Baltimore Orioles"

The top part said "Major League Baseball"

I gave them extra room.

in high school or college baseball, we would be talking about running up the score. how at some point you would put your weaker players in to get some experience ... did the rangers rotate out their starters and the second and third string guys clean up as well? seems like even if you could score 30 runs, why do it?

if you carry 12 pitchers. These guys are hungrier than the starters, kind of like other sports where you get limited opportunities to impress so make the most of it. The O's are getting better, Texas has not contended for 7 or 8 years, but were pretty good a while back when they had the boys taking their vitamin shots.
