Integrated headsets

Hello, im curious about this style of headset being that alot of the frames out are with this style. Yes it looks nice,but are they reliable. visiting my l.b.s
the other day i was talking to the manager, and he said a guy came in and was looking for another frame because his current high end frame which was carbon fiber had a integrated hs that was annoying him with a noise he could no longer stand. I noticed that 2 of the more popular carbon makers out there(trek,colnago) don't use Ih which got me curious enough to post this. If anyone has any knowledge of this style hs pro's/cons, It would be much appreciated.
