That's a great article, thanks for posting it. BTW, when the article mentions Landis posting last summer "On an online forum widely read by serious cyclists," was it referring to the SEROTTA forum?? I'm wondering if Floyd is Your_Friend?

1. On the Internet, not only is everyone rich, beautiful, and smart, they are all potential Tour-winning cyclists as well

Unless I misread the article, I'm a bit bothered that he knocked back two beers before going out on a group ride with a bunch of strangers...

That is a well written article, truly neutral on guilt or otherwise in a way so many journalists seem unable to be. By focusing on what is rather than what is easily imagined, it tells the truth.

interesting factoid contrary to conventional wisdom:

"According to the United States Anti-Doping Agency, or Usada, which is responsible for enforcing anti-doping rules in Olympic sports, few athletes charged with violations even bother to mount a challenge. “About 80 percent of them say, 'Yeah, I did it,' and accept a sanction,” says Travis Tygart, general counsel for Usada, who helped prosecute Landis but was bound by a gag order not to discuss the case until a verdict has been issued. Of the 167 violations Usada has handled over the last six years, he says, only 34 have resulted in arbitration hearings.
