FS: I have a set of professionally handbuilt fixed-gear wheels that I am looking to sell. High flange polished Phil Wood track hubs (100 mm front spacing, rear fixed/free w/ 130 mm spacing) laced to classic-looking modern 27" double-wall alloy rims with 15/16 butted spokes + brass nipples. Wheelset comes w/ a 16t cog, Phil lockring, and gumwall 27" X 1.25" tires (Bontrager "Sport") + tubes, installed. Also includes and extra Phil axle bolt in case you need it someday. This is a nimble yet bombproof set of commuting/whatever-ing wheels, high pleasure and ultra-low maintenance. Lightly used and gorgeous....pics available on request. $400 + shipping.

Really 27" not 700C?

((A 700C has a 622mm bead diameter and a 27" has a 630mm bead diameter.))

Just checking?

Thanks for the question. They are 27". I bought the rims (Jalco DM-15's) from St. John Street Cycles in England....the 27-inch rim specialists!

Sorta similar to these, not exactly....and 36 hole:

The ones I bought are no longer available, it seems

....one of the differences being, the rims on my wheels are double eyelet, and the ones in the link are single eyelet.
