Elvis left us 30 years ago tomorrow--assuming he really IS dead and not just working as a greeter at some Wal-Mart in Nebraska.

Here's Elvis on his first bike. I know robin Williams owns a gazillion bikes and John Kerry is a Serotta owner, but what other celebrities are also cyclists?

(Sandy and Kevan don't count.)

Your signature line was never so appropriate.

There's a photo out there on the web with Einstein on a bike.

I worked in a steel mill during my Summers in college. On one Summer evening in August 1977, I remember asking one of the millwrights (Night-train Wayne; they all had nicknames) why he was so quiet that evening (4-12 shift). They usually razzed the college boys when we showed up for the shift, so I was a little suspect. He looked up sadly at me and said; "Bobby, the King is gone.". Seriously.

He's not gone. He's just out doing interval training.

Elvis's seat was too high. His hips were always rocking!

A few years ago, a friend of mine was staying in a hotel in North Jersey near a venue where Bob Dylan was going to be performing. It was during the summer. The afternoon of the show my friend (not your_friend) was in the lobby when Dylan checked in. Dylan then put the hood of his jacket up, took a bike out of the tour bus, and rode laps around the parking lot for a long while.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played Zach on Saved by the Bell, is a Cat 3 racer I believe. There was an article in Bicycling about him a year or so ago.
