When I worked for Real Design building wheels I had 2 guys lacing wheels for me and then I tensioned and trued them. If I did not finish at least 40 wheels a day I was told I needed to speed things up.

The machines that Campy uses to build there wheels takes about 6 minutes to completely finish a wheel. So that means in a average week they produce 2450 wheels and that is just one model of wheel, there are more then one machine doing other models.

Maybe that's why they're selling 10K wheels per week!
Bingo! I made that mistake once. Result: total wheel rebuild. Rear in less than 6 months and front a few months later. This is not the place you want to "save" money.
