A few days ago I put a pair of Continental 4000S tires on my IF, and they are great. Much, much better than the Continental 4000 tires, they feel totally different. They do not feel quite as round and plush as the Michelin Pro-2 25s I took off, but they corner much tighter -- they really stick to the road. I could take much tighter lines at over 30 mph than I could with the Michelins. I didn't notice that I felt any slower, or at least that my slowness could be chalked up to the tires. We'll see how they hold up, but they are my new favorite clinchers.

were you sliding your previous tires when cornering?

Not sliding, they just didn't feel as crisp. These tires almost feel like you are etching a line.

I bought some more 700x25 Continenatal Gand Prix 4000. I wanted to try the 4000S tire, but after calling Continental, I found out that they are not made in the 700x25 size, nor do they plan on making them in the near future. I am sold on 700x25 tires, so I will stay with the GP 4000.

Me thinks that the Attack/Force combination is a better set. I have found that I have to pump the 4000S with about .1 bar more than the A/F.
The 4000S, to me feels a bit harder as well, using the same wheelset...

Does anyone know if they plan on making the A/F with the new Chili Compound?

A!

I haven't tried the Attack/Force. I think the Chili compound is what I like so much, though.
