Last night I'm cleaning the bike and I find on the front tire's sidewall a nice torn cut about 3/16 of an inch long right clean through. It was bulging only a little but there it was. I took the tire off and you could see the scuff where whatever it was glanced off the tube.
I'm glad I found it then and not when I was leaning through a turn at 30 or coming down Crawford at 50 with my snout over the bars.
