Guess retirement is working in lowering my handicap. My best game in a couple of months.

Plus I road a 80 miles on my Serotta Legend last Thursday. Great ride but sliced my front tire at somepoint so replaced it with a new one from Bike Tires Direct. another .020" deeper and it would have gotten the tube

Echo Falls is the course - which is my home course. Have you played it? Some like it - some do not, those who do not like it are those that usually do not bring enough balls to play 18.

I retired at 60 and no MS stock.

I played it about 10 years ago.....with family now, I need to choose between riding and golf....riding wins.

My golf is limited to an annual corporate tournament with clients. I bring a high handicap to table. I can hit long and straight....but can't putt worth a darn.

I haven't shot 5 birdies since dove season. MI outlawed dove hunting last year. I'm jealous...

Last year, I was a board member for my golf club, played at least 3 weekends a month, and rode no more than 65 miles at a time. This year, have riden many miles with my pals, including Tour de Blast, one day STP, a ride up to Sunrise @ Mt. Rainier...only played golf once. I stopped getting better at golf...get better on the bike everytime I ride! Played Echo Falls last year...now I know why there were no balls available at the range, people were stuffing them in their bags to use on the course. Also, decided to walk that day...seemed like we hiked a 12% grade between a couple of holes if I remember correctly. Like many courses in Seattle, very pretty and a great value compared to what I played in SoCal.

Congrats on the great round!

John, c'mon out next month. the season starts late september. they are lovely dipped in an egg batter and some breadcrumbs with hot pepper seasoning, then pan-fried in olive oil.

Uhm, I can shoot straight ;) , that sounds delicious. I'll have to try it this year. Frank
