If Levi hadn't been docked 10 seconds for the "biden pull" he would have been in second place. :bike:

He was pulling Joe Biden and only lost ten seconds?

If I was born with Lance Armstongs genes and Stevep's good looks I'd have won by 10 min.

He may have lost more though if he had to stop and have his saddle adjusted. Tough call on what to do.

I think there's a Levi's jeans joke in there somewhere...

if levi gets caught doing the tyler-twin-tango, we'd have a pair a levis.

If Levi hadn't gotten the "assistance" he wouldn't have been on the podium, IMHO.

Well worth the 10 second penalty...it took a lot of effort for him to get back into the mix that day.

Discovery won't go down without a fight. I am sure that if Contador was named before the tour they would have sacked him. Now he has won.......well thats a different story.

+1 That was a calculated risk that they would not have taken unless they thought it was necessary.

Dockers?

What do you call it when you look out on the lake one day and see two piers where there should only be one?

That is a great site. His stock has risen immeasurably during this past Tour, it seems that he has become a popular rider.

Exactly! I was surprised he only got 10 seconds penalty, without the car push (very long BTW!) it would have easily ended up in a Vino-style catch, the head group was moving really fast at that point.

Levi himself practically agreed that the penalty was worth it in his post race interview because catching up was so important. If they had not penalized that, they should not have penalties. And BTW, does anyone know if the spare bike for their "leader" really had the wrong saddle height? I would guess not, which further proves the point.

It woud have been to the mm - I was looking closely at what the mech was doing. Not very much!

Not to take anything away from Levi, he had an awesome Tour but he did the right thing to take a 10 sec hit for the tow as it would likely have been much more had he not had the tow. A true professional.
