Hi gang.
I just bought a 2004 CDA F/F from one of the forumites for my back up bike. Will arrive in about a week. (Legend remains 1st string)
I just sold my IF Crown Jewel as a complete bike so I will need to buy most of the components needed for a new build.
Colorado Cyclist is offering their Ulterga Triple Build kit for just over $1100 with Open Pros. I haven't seen anything close to this price. Do you have a better source?

Also I want to do a disaster check on some sizing before I make a final order. Let me know if any of the following is incorrect for a stock CDA.

Seat Post: 27.2
Front derailleur clamp: 3.5 (1 3/8")
Bottom bracket: English

Thanks.

Well, that's never going to happen, Dave. She weights in at 108 lbs, is 9 years younger and oh ya, she is also stronger than me.
I would need a Vespa to keep up with her on the up hill.
But down hill is another story. :bike:

My envy is huge, Dan.

If I were you, I might never leave the house to ride at all. J'espere pour la meme vie.

has some amazing prices on complete groups. Granted, you'd still have to find some wheels and misc other parts, but I'd think you could still come in lower.

I agree. You should at least check out texas cyclesport. I bought wheels and parts from them this year and was happy. I thought they had the best overall selection and prices of the on-line stores.

GVHBikes.com has good prices on their build kits. Really nice prices on wheels.

I use Eurobikeparts.com http://www.eurobikeparts.com/index.php

THe guy's name is Dom and he is fantastic. I just got a brand new Chrous compact build kit for $1100.

I have bought all my groups from him. If you are close to Chicago he ships it to you in about a day.

He is also on ebay under the same name, but use his website as it saves him the criminal ebay fees.

I have absolutely nothing to gain from him, but he has been very kind and always seems to be willing to deal.

His out of stock Ultergra group may still be available. Anyway shoot him an email and i imagine he can hook you up.

Tell him the Prez sent you.
