I am currently using an 82 degree deda newton stem. I need something with more rise. I think the dea is a + or - 8 degree if i am correct. What do you all recommend in stem brand and model to get a quality stem, low weight, but much steeper rise like 12-15 degee? Thanks

Salsa stems come in a variety of angles and sizes, and the lip lock retention system is quite secure. I use them on all my bikes. Your bike shop can order them from QBP.

I looked at these and dont seem to have the rise I need. Any other suggestions? I did find a ritchie pro with 17 degree rise. Any opinions on this one??? Thanks

The Ritcheys are nice stems. You can get the 17°+/- stem in both the Pro and new 4-Axis models depending on what you want for bar diameter and length.

Depending on handlebar diameter Thomsons come in several angles. The newer X2's only work for 31.8mm bars and come in 10°+/- or 17°+/- angles. The older Elites come in 10°+/- for 26mm bars, but are pretty heavy for a road stem.

The Zipp 145 carbon stem is approximately 12°+/-.

Hope this helps.
