I just moved to the Irvine/Laguna Beach area of Southern Cal. Hence, I'm looking for a new bike shop and mechanic. I would appreciate any recommendations for favorite shop and favorite capable mechanic to work on my brand spankin' new Serotta HSG.

I'm also looking for a new road team that an experienced Cat 3 might be able to help out. Any recommendations would also be appreciated.

I would try Edge Cyclesports. It's been awhile since I lived there, but Hank has many years of experience in running a top OC shop.

Also try Matt Thomas at King's in Seal Beach. He's one of the best mechanics I've come across in my travels.
