I changed the length of my cranks to 172.5's this season. I wish I did it ten years ago as I can climb even better now. I likely would have turned pro at age 26.
Being a bozo, I ran 170's on my cross bike too. I am looking at a set of FSA Gossamer cranks that would work on the isis BB that I am currently using with my Ritchey cranks. I like the rings offered on this crank, 36/46. I think they would help me grind through the slop with a facility I have never enjoyed.
Any thoughts? Should I look at any other cranks? Do the new mondo exo bottom brackets hold up better?

love,

Me

I am fond of Sugino Cranks. Soma has the Swiss Cross with 48/34...
