Does the CDA carbon rear take a special brake bolt NUT? I bought one of the closeout CDA'S and have tried Shimano & Campy nuts and all are too large a diameter. I can turn one down, but just wondering if there is a "std." nut that will work.

Thanks,
Jeff

I've had similar experiences when installing brake nuts on carbon fronts and rears. It seems that some of the clear coat gets inside the hole for the nut and reduces its diameter. I've gently enlarged the holes a small amount and the nuts fit right it, albeit a 'press fit'.

The Reynolds ti brake nut is slightly smaller then the standard and I assume you have the CDA with the Reynolds curved stays. Some high end shops will carry them in stock. Serotta usually sends them with the frameset?

Your dealer should be able to look at it and tell you... If not close, send a note to ANDREW@serotta.com.
