If a campy chainring came from a super record or nuovo record crankset is the bcd 144? Another way of putting it is did they stop mufacturing these groups at the same time they went to a 135 bcd and different name groups? Thanks

Yes, C-Record replaced SR and introduced the world to 135bcd cranks which allowed 39T inner ring. 144bcd required 42T inner ring as minimum. At same time Campy also had a smaller (122bcd?) in lower priced Victory and Triumphe groups. These were later discontinued and replaced with Chorus and Athena which used 135bcd like big brother.

Ride on!
