garmin underseat mount?

has anyone done this? just curious. I don't need to look at the edge while riding, but use it to record altitude climbed (and create CT courses of some of my rides).

Just curious if anyone made a mount under the saddle and/or is the reception is decent in this location.

You dont even need to do that...

Just make sure that the unit has found the satellites and that you start the timer. Put it in your jersey pocket and forget about it until the ride ends. Then turn off the timer.

Works perfectly! Ive done this dozens of times as I am interested in the data after the ride as well...

I also place the Edge in my jersey pocket when the battery is weak and using the AA battery charger. Good luck. :beer:
