There is a great article at : http://www.cyclingnews.com/road/2007/tour07/tech/?id=/tech/2007/features/tour_tech_607
on equipment "substitutions" at the Tour de France. It never ceases to amaze me how many disguised tubulars there are in pro racing....and the disguises are getting more clever. Also interesting is the fact that the two Specialized sponsored teams seem to have different rear dropouts on their frames...with no removable der. hanger. Additionally, it seems that Specialized has solved the fork breaking problem that they faced in the Spring Classics....by substituting Time forks! Hats off to Cyclingnews for really reporting instead of disguising ad copy!

My favorite is the tubular disquised as a clincher.
