Finally my new custom Holland is will be put together this week!
Does anyone have experience to share with the FSA cranks? I had chosen Dura Ace but they aren't very pretty IMO and I have them on my current stock bike. Since my Exogrid is a combination of Ti and Carbon, I am considering changing to the carbon FSA's. The ads and some people here have noted they are stiffer and lighter. I have also heard of some problems; is that in the past or have they yet to correct any problems?
I really like the look and they would look good I think on the bike. If the performance is as good or better as DA, I may make the switch...
Appreciate your feedback.

in my experience, shifting quality has been fair to crap on most of the FSA cranks i have worked with (assuming Shimano drivetrain). i can't recall how many sets of rings/ crankarms we've warrantied since Jan., but it's been a lot. compacts, standard, Gossamers, SLKs...seems like FSA QC has taken a nap lately.
I've used nothing but FSA cranks on my Campy 10 triple drivetrains and had no problems in the last five seasons. I own five FSA cranksets. That said, if you want a high quality carbon double or compact crank at a reasonable price, then Campy Chorus wins hands down. The Record crank is only about 30 grams lighter and costs nearly $200 more.

I have 3 sets of the FSA carbon cranks (and 1 set of the FSA alu cranks) and I agree with Dave, they shift fine with no problems.

I swapped 10spd DA dbl for FSA carbon compact dbl. and can't notice any difference except for the gearing. They both work perfectly om my Legend.

I switched from DA to FSA on both of my bikes and have no regrets/problems.

Funny how you have people on both sides...
I was using FSA on a bike and switched back to Shimano as I didnt like the all the maintainance that I had to perform on the FSA crankset...
Seems that the crank bolts kept coming loose and would create lots of noises...
I still have a MegaExo bottom bracket...English...Its for sale.

I have 3 several version of FSA cranks on all 3 road bikes and my TT and cross bikes.
All shift fine and there have been no durability issues.
I have a small issue with a new ceramic BB on my Ottrott, but there I am batting .500 as the new K-Force Lite crank with the ceramic BB on the Meivici is outstanding.

Ditto on the K-Force Lite per Bruce K. Using them on my new AXM (just posted in the custom gallery) and they are very smooth and shift perfectly (almost seemed faster than DA). I am a huge DA fan and really like smooth shifting. I have stayed away from FSA until now. One ride does not tell the story, but it's a good start.
Switched to the FSA ceramic BB. I really like the change.
