"Tricking" servers for streaming TdeF coverage

Because the corporate bastards at Versus won't (or can't) stream live video of the Tour (I'll leave that rant for another thread), need to figure out how to trick the server of one of the many European stations that are streaming it (see: http://www.steephill.tv/2007/tour-de-france/#live) into thinking that my connection is not based in the US.

I think there is a way to play with nodes (?) and other settings in the browser in order to accomplish this. Anyone have any idea how to do this?

Wishing upon a smart soul who can hook me (and perhaps others) up in this regard whilst simultaneously giving the proverbial finger to Versus and the ASO.

I have similar frustration. The Versus link was removed today, but does anyone know if it still works? Can anyone provide a link to streaming internet tv of the Tour? The sputnik one works, but doesn't seem to be covering the tour live at the moment. I can't get any of the other European links to work because they require you to be in Europe!

It looks like they did not purchase the internet streaming coverage for North America so Comcast/VS. are not authorized to stream it online.

The only way I know to get it would be with a Slingbox attached to your TV set. Then I believe you can access what's on your tv from anywhere in the world.
