Boston 7 /4 ride??

Does anybody know if there are any rides going on in the Boston area on 7/4??
Looking for start time of 7-8 for 50-60 miles at a good steady pace.

I would check the web sites of North Shore Cyclists, Charles River Wheelmen, ECV, CCB, and Minuteman Bicycle Club for starters.

I know our group is doing something out of Manchester early Wednesday but no firm plans yet as to distance or speed. Start time will definitley be early to avoid parades.

I'm doing a much shorter ride -- 26 miles somewhat circumnavigating the Wachusett Reservoir, at almost certainly less than what YOU call a good steady pace.

But it's all relative, and this'll be my longest ride in 7 years and I'm looking forward to it!

fitchburg is over. best weather its ever been 70s every day ..ok, hot for the tt.

blockheads did well. blew the crit finish but i own 'em so i still love 'em.
