Yesterday the unthinkable happened and I flatted a Veloflex!! ***, it was only 3 years old......

Looking for sources. I like the look of the Criterium model, but these seem like they are nowadays hard to find. The Carbon is a good one. Don't like the look as much, but otherwise they seem nearly identical to the Criterium, 'cept for the tread which is slightly different.

Best prices? Where?

Too Tall has recommended these folks for his tubular (http://worldclasscycles.com/tubular_tires_free_cart.htm) tires.

I second World Class Cycles. I get my Veloflex from there; there is no better place.

+1

Danny is first class. You pay him AFTER you get the tires.

Another ditto for Worldclass cycles http://www.worldclasscycles.com/

Used these folks for my last few pairs of Criteriums and Carbon, the service is outstanding and price beats what everyone has quoted so far.

FWIW, the distributor is supposedly out of stock and is waiting for a new shipment. Asked by my LBS when this shipment might arrive, the answer was something along the lines of "we don't know, we can't get a straight answer from Italy." Evidently, once this shipment finally arrives, these tires will be easy to find and readily available for at least a few weeks.

Yumbo - I think I've got a pair in storage. You can have them and replace when they become avail.

I am busy the next couple weeks, but I'll try to be in touch. Moving soon. Sort of staying in the area, but will be buying a house soon out of the area. Commuting to Arlington. Keeping a bike here though!

Thanks!

BTW - Hoped I would have run into you yesterday on the Capitol Crescent Trail!
