I just noticed that Nashbar seems to be clearing out their inventory of Oval Concept components.

The prices are pretty decent and they have a good selection of oddball seatpost diameters. Is this stuff anything special or is it basically tweeked and rebadged Ritchey designs from Taiwan via Switzerland?

Yep, that pretty much sums it up. At least for some of their gear.

Let me say this...there is nothing WRONG with the Oval Concepts stuff. Actually, I really like their stems and their classic drop bars. But... down here (Aus) the same seatpost is available from Oval, Ritchey and WTB for $130, $95 and $48 respectively. How does that work? :rolleyes:
