I just bought a Campy Ergo Brake/Shifter Cable and Housing set. It came with the housing end caps for the derailleur, but not the brake. Does the set just not come with brake end caps?

The Shimano Dura Ace cable set does!

How's that for starting a Shimano Vs Campy war???

Just sayin'

no brake ferrules.

i have a question...

is there supposed to be a ferrule on the brake housing end that goes inside the shifter? i would bet my last dollar that there isn't supposed to be, but everytime i put new cables on a Campy bike, or overhaul a shifter, there's a ferrule stuck down inside the shifter body. that damn thing is a pain in the *** to remove.

In the ultimate wisdom of Campy, the cables fit into the brakes nicely without the need for an end cap, saving huge amounts of weight...

Which is why I always---and I mean always---beat my Shimano riding buddies... :D
