View Full Version : Wheel sale!

Time to make more room in the garage...

I have 3 sets of wheels that are new, as in no miles. Had been saving 'em for a future build but...

1) Easton Vista SL's, Shimano, SOLD

2) Campagnolo Vento's (newer 2006 version), SOLD

3) Campagnolo Khamsin's, $175

All prices are of course, negotiable... :D

And one final reminder that there is a mint condition Colorado III with your name on it: http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=29843
Toss me an offer before I ride it over the summer and realize that, hey... it's smoother than anything I own, and put up with a longer stem and an Arione.
We all know there is nothing like Serotta steel!
June 30: The 105 gruppo on the Serotta has been SOLD but the frame/fork/HS are in need of an enthusiastic owner!

I hope the newer Ventos are as good as the old version.
Mine were totally bombproof, and they weathered many potholes
and abuse on this heavy body.
Outstanding equipment from Campagnolo!!!! Continue the tradition!!

Does anyone out there know whether these new Easton Vista SLs are compatible with roughly 11 year old Shimano 8-speed? Couldn't find any info on Easton's website and their customer service department is unavailable on weekends.

The Vista SL's have been sold as well  Thanks, Mike.

... willing to deal on the Khamsins. Looking to clear out the bunch by the end of the weekend.

The Khamsins are still here, although $175 shipped might get somebody moving... again, these are new.

Also, since I am in the selling mode, I have a very nice pair of tubular Ksyrium SSC SL's, with Continental Sprinters mounted, both with very low miles. Black in color. Campagnolo freewheel. I would be willing to let these go for $350. Let me know if you would like to see photos.

Khamsins are black, right?

For some reason, I think Campy makes a variety in gold, but these are black, very nice. The G3 icon is in red lettering.

There is a SALE PENDING on the Ksyriums.

The never-ending thread... at any rate, the Khamsins are still here. Toss me an offer...

And I found ;) a pair of Shimano WH-550's, black, new condition. I know---not very sexy---but a good training wheelset, by all accounts. $150 shipped, or reasonable offer.

Simplify, simplify...

Whoa, open a closet door and out fall (although gently) :D a nice pair of Mavic Cosmos, black, 2003 model. Look new, perfectly true and round. $150 shipped. To the lower 48, anyway.

And right after them, a pair of Mavic CXP-33's, mounted on Campy Chorus hubs, but with, yes, a Shimano freewheel (and with Conti Gatorskins mounted)... $250 shipped.

And yes (for those inquiring minds out there) I have a wheel fetish, but the electroshock therapy is working... I think.

Bumpiddy bump... :D and to clarify things:

3 sets of wheels still for sale...

1) Mavic CXP-33's (silver) mounted on Campy Chorus hubs with the unusual Shimano freewheel, lightly used, w/Continental Gatorskins, $250

2) Shimano WH-550's, new condition, $150

3) Campy Khamsins, new, black, $175

... all prices include shipping to the lower 48.
