Can someone suggest a bar with a flat top section that is 46cm c-c? I believe bontrager made one for about $30 and there were others (Nitto?) but I cannot remember...

Where can I get one? Preferably in Europe, my European brothers.....

If anyone has one they are not using, I would be interested.....

I have the bontragers. I wanted to try the wider ones before I went with a more pricey bar; like 'em so much I haven't changed them. not sure of the price though....

Grant Peterson's been a big proponent of wide bars for several years now, so he sells 'em. They have the Noodle bar up to a 48 (http://www.rivbike.com/webalog/handlebars_stems_tape/16111.html) and a lighter version called the Soba up to a 46. The tops are slightly swept back, though, so I'm not sure this meets your criteria. They're also not in Europe, but you might be able to find the same models there and, if not, I'm sure Riv could ship 'em.

Also, Salsa makes the Bell Lap (which they market as a cyclocross bar but it works great for road too) up to 46. They have slightly angled drops, but the tops are flat and straight across. Probably a European source for these somewhere.

Good luck,

These are fairly cheap but they have an anatomic bend.
