OT- Need an employment lawyer ind VA

I am looking for an employment lawyer in VA, who is knowledgeable about the Family and Medical Leave Act. This is for a friend who is having a very difficult time and needs some immediate help and advice.

While I cannot vouch for lawyers I don't know, I can say that NELA (National Employment Lawyers Association) is BY FAR the best general referral source for plaintiff-side employment lawyers. In my 15 years of labor practice, I've found the NELA list to be better than individual referrals from local lawyers.

NELA is an excellent organization and its members are among the leaders in the plaintiff-side employment bar. These are the folks that are full-time, die-hard employment lawyers.

Without this list, it is VERY difficult for someone to find an experienced FMLA lawyer who will take the call. I'd recommend your friend saying that the referral came from the NELA list.
