I was always under the impression that Serotta had tubing mills form their Colorado Concept tubing to Serotta's specifications, in the same way that Reynolds produces the F2 and O2 forks to Serotta's specs. But based on their new website, I'm wondering if Serotta actually draws their own tubes. Does anybody know the reality of the situation?

In one of their older catalogs (2001?), they said that they get the tubes from Ancotech in suburban Detroit and have them swaged somewhere in Minnesota. I don't know if this has changed or not.

I believe that Reynolds is doing their tubes now, butting, swaging and tapering for beginning to end. They used to have ancotech produce the tubes and resend it out to a butting/swaging place. Now Reynolds does it all.

They don't actually "do" the tubing in house, that would require tremendous amounts of tooling/machinery that would put Serotta in debt forever.
