Philadelphia Bike Race

Just got home from a beautiful day on the Manyunk Wall This is my 8th time on the wall and finally it was not really hot and humid.
The lack of talent from the European Tours seemed to hold the crowd down at first, but by about 1pm the crowds really grew; everyone was having a great time.
At this time I still have not heard who won either the men or women's races. The women seemed to fall apart early while the men closed up at the end.
Anyone else there today? :beer: :bike:

Didn't go in to watch it today, but watched some of it on the tube. Both races came down to bunch sprints. Ina somethingorother from T-Mobile won it for the second year in a row in the women's race and JJ took the men's sprint following a four man T-Mobile leadout that were trying to set it up for Eisel. They left him alone a bit too soon though and two CSC guys came around him with JJ winnning it. Pretty rare that that anyone stays away in this race, which is part of why it lost the US Pro designation. The fastest men's race ever, probably due to the cool weather. Still never a drop of rain on this race - amazing.
