I just got an American Classic CR 420 16 Sapim spoke front wheel--Great wheel...fast, light and comfortable.

I had a new fsa wheel that went out of true on me - < 1000m. I would just true the wheel up locally, it only takes a moment. I have the 420's (on my second set) they are not a super high-quality product, imo, but the ride of them is second to none - I mean it. Even with their issues they are totally worth it. I trade them between a ti and al frame and they feel great on both, not too many wheels you can say that about.

It's really funny you guys have great bikes and put junk on for wheels. They won't last a week with me.I have to say you can't find a lighter set wheels than A.C. for the money, I rode 420's for months without too much trouble.A.C. hubs do need to be looked after like every 200 miles loose bearings and they don't take kindly to water at all.Other than that and the fact that they cost alot they are great .The wheels I use have to be stong first since I use them for work everyday rain or shine I hop curbs hit potholes etc.I am also 6'1" and 200 lbs.You can't use the same kind of wheels as me mine are fixed.

needs help,

For your scenario to be accurate, AC would also have to respond with vitriol, profanity, poor grammar, and misspelling.

AC would also have to refuse to refund the money.

Guys I love this forum and I hate to see it go off in the direction this is headed. If for no other reason than doing me a personal favor, could we talk about our bikes some more?

I love my AC 420's (rode them today) and 350's (riding them tomorrow).

93LTi removed his original comment, so this is probably a moot point. But there's a thread on RBR (http://forums.roadbikereview.com/showthread.php?t=30629) about non-factory AC420's inexpertly made in Taiwan that are showing up on e-Bay.
